What is YOGA?

Newly re-opened and under new ownership, Star Sanctuary for Yoga offers classes for all abilities, as well as other exciting events.

Kristina Berano, BS, RYT is the proud new owner of Star Sanctuary for Yoga and Healing. Kristina received her Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2005. She taught yoga at the Woodbury Yoga Center from 2005-2007. She was the Vice President on the Woodbury Yoga Center Board of Directors during that time. Kristina is a dedicated disciple of Shri Anandi Ma, the spiritual heir of the lineage of Kundalini Maha Yoga. Kristina received Shaktipat initiation from her beloved Guru in July 2003. She continues her training in this lineage as well as at Kripalu Center.
Kristina is proud to annouce that Star Sanctuary for Yoga and Healing, llc is the newest Kripalu Affiliated Studio -one of only 36 other studios to receive this honor worldwide!

 

 

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 1st Annual "Yoga for Food Day' a great success! We donated over 25 full bags of non-perishable food items to the Torringford School Food drive.
