Lindsey Coons!
Lindsey discovered belly dance in early 2000. She quickly became a lifelong student. She fell in love with this ancient dance, not only studying the various styles, but its history throughout the world.
Over the first four years, Lindsey studied with master dancers Leena from Egypt and Youshra from Indonesia. During this time she grew a strong foundation of classical, cabaret and tribal Belly dance. Lindsey began working for an Arabic club in Philadelphia PA where she performed her dance on a weekly basis. This opened the doors to many more opportunities.
Lindsey has performed on numerous occasions in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts. She has done charity events, children’s birthday parties, restaurant entertainment, and much more.
Four years ago Lindsey began teaching the art of Belly dance. She has taught in fitness centers, Dance studios and in home lessons. This has given her the opportunity to share her love of dance with women around the country. Lindsey loves that she now can share with her students a chance to find their beauty within, build self confidence, and delve into their creativity.
